SING PLAY LOOP
Walk with me (#Vocalsonly)
Walk with me is an entirely vocal experiment: the song was composed and recorde by overlapping the voice and hand claps many times on a loop station.
NO INSTRUMENTS - VOCALS ONLY
'I use the tools I’ve got (my voice, words, movement, a microphone, my Loop station..) to react to the very bad and sad situation around the world and to the humanitarian crisis.
My song and clip mean to send a positive message of strength and resilience through difficulties.

A tribute to diversity and a way of rehabilitating my beautiful hometown, Rome, a place open to all cultures, races and religions.'

SING PLAY LOOP
Alessia Piermarini (Vocal Teacher Page)
Sing Play Loop is my teaching project.

I started teaching more than 10 years ago and it's still an amazing source of joy and energy.
I moved to London to follow my first love: music.
Music is my healer, my passion, my savior, my guide, my doctor, my inspiration.
There are so many reasons why people want to sing.

What's better than singing in harmony?

Share your story with others through music and through your sound.
Your voice talks about you before you even realize it.
Everybody’s experience, voice and energy together to build up a unique and shared “Sound”.
We're going to work on songs from different cultures, exploring sounds you never thought you had, play instruments we made ourselves using tools we normally wouldn’t use for playing.
You will discover your precious voice and learn how to share your vibe singing in harmony with other souls.
You shortly could turn into a melody, as well as a chord, a beat, the wind, a bird, a colander…

ABOUT ME
Who I am What I like What I've done Who I've been How I live Where I'm going to

Welcome to my "vocal teacher" page!

I'm a songwriter, singer, pianist, composer, loop artist, poet and blogger.
I love dancing as well, but this is another story (still connected to music though!)
Born and raised in Rome I moved to London 3 years ago to make music.
And YES, I do miss my home town ... How can you NOT miss a place like Rome?

I received a few years of classical piano education and then I started developing my interest in Jazz and Blues: I recently got Jazz Piano Grade 5 and 6.

I'm currently working on my new project "Me, MyLoopStation & I".
It's a solo project, just myself on vocals and loop pedal, and it was well received by the audience in London.

After my first solo album PG Major 7 was released I had the opportunity of opening up for the Neo Soul Poet Ursula Rucker.

In 2015 my second solo album "Synth o matic" was released: a couple of featuring artists I'm proud of such as the legendary "Nu Soul Pioneer" Jaguar Wright.
As soon as it was released I had the honor to open up for the legend Frank McComb at Jazz Cafè in London: yes, a dream come true!!

More recently in 2016 I had the chance to work as singer/intepreter of Tino Seghal's art at the Tate Gallery of London.

My music is a blend of Jazz, Nu Soul, Hip hop, Blues, Spoken word.

I've been a vocal teacher for almost 15 years now: I started very young and I've been teaching in schools and privately, giving individual classes and running workshops.

More recently I started gaining interest in working with vulnerable people and in a community environment: I had the chance to collaborate as a Music group facilitator for 3 years at Solace Women’s Aid, a charity providing life-saving support to women and children survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
I'm currently working with Hibiscus Initiatives Charity, an organization who gives support to people affected by international crime, where I run an Only Women Singing workshop that is part of the Well-being project.

I worked as a Creative Tutor and released music tutorials at Young Urban Arts Foundation (supporting children from 9 to 18 yrs old coming from disadvantaged backgrounds) and I'm currently working with them as Online Music Tutor.
